UnidosUS

​

UnidosUS serves the Latinx community through research, policy analysis, and state and national advocacy efforts, as well as in UnidosUS program work in communities nationwide. They partner with a national network of nearly 300 Affiliates across the country to serve millions of Latinos in the areas of civic engagement, civil rights and immigration, education, workforce and the economy, health, and housing.

SHPE Leading Hispanics In STEM

​

SHPE makes a big impact, as the largest association in the nation for Latinx people in STEM. They  meet each of their students and professional members where they are—offering effective training, mentorship, and programming for our vibrant community. SHPE changes lives by empowering the Latinx community to realize its fullest potential and to impact the world through STEM awareness, access, support, and development.

Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA)

​

As the first national Latino professional association in the United States, ALPFA provides their members with networking and professional leadership development opportunities, access to 50,000 paid summer internships through hundreds of Fortune 1000 corporate partners. ALPFA aspires to be the business partner of choice for companies seeking to hire and develop Latino talent.

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC)

​

The League of United Latin American Citizens seeks to advance the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health and civil rights of the Hispanic population of the United States. Annually, LULAC engages its network of 135,000 community volunteers, 1,000 local councils, 60 community technology centers and 14 LULAC National Educational Service Centers to empower Latinx families through direct service programs and advocacy in 35 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.

National Hispanic Institute (NHI)

​

The National Hispanic Institute was founded in 1979 and annually serves between 2,000-2,500 students. To date, NHI has served over 100,000 students and works with 80 colleges and universities. NHI's mission is to create experiences that engage achieving high school and college age youth in community leadership roles that advance our quality of life. NHI provides its youth with a continuum of leadership opportunities that begin at the ninth grade and continue through undergraduate college studies. This eight-year process begins with the Great Debate/GDx, continues with the Lorenzo de Zavala Youth Legislative Session/LDZx, the Collegiate World Series/CWSx, and, finally, the Collegiate Leadership Network/CLNx. Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI)

​

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) is the premier Hispanic nonprofit and nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization in the country dedicated to developing the next generation of Latino leaders. CHCI provides leadership, public service, and policy experiences to outstanding Latino/a/x students and young professionals, and convenes Members of Congress and other public officials, corporate executives, nonprofit advocates, and thought leaders to discuss issues facing the nation and the Hispanic community.

Mexican-American Legal Defense And Educational Fund (MALDEF)

​

MALDEF is the nation’s leading Latino legal civil rights organization. Their commitment is to protect and defend the rights of all Latinos living in the United States and the constitutional rights of all Americans. MALDEF fights for education, employment, immigrant rights, voting rights, and offers resources such as college and law school scholarships.

Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF)

​

HHF is focused on assisting “a Latino to help hundreds more” through a unique cycle of leadership built on a high-profile, year-round continuum of sustainable programs, including the Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards, Latinos On Fast Track (LOFT), Hispanic Heritage Awards and Public Awareness Campaigns. HHF promotes cultural pride, accomplishment and the great promise of the community through public awareness campaigns seen by millions.

Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA)

​

We are a nonprofit, nonpartisan, national membership organization that represents the interests of Hispanic legal professionals in the United States and its territories. NHBA is also committed to advocacy on issues of importance to the 58 million people of Hispanic heritage living in the U.S. The Hispanic National Bar Association advocates for Hispanic attorneys, judges, law professors, legal assistants, law students and other legal professionals in the United States and its territories. Additionally, they offer cutting-edge continuing legal education (CLE) sessions, which qualify for CLE credits in all U.S. jurisdictions, and multiple programs to our attorney members that provide professional, business and leadership development necessary to advancement in the profession.

The Nuyorican presents groundbreaking works of literature, music, theater, performance art, poetry slam, Hip-Hop, visual art and champions established as well as rising artists from every background imaginable for ALL AGES.
